About Indiana NAWGJ
Indiana NAWGJ is a chapter of the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges (NAWGJ). It is the mission of the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges to provide professional development for its members and to support and promote women's gymnastics in the United States.
NCAA Judging
Founded more than one hundred years ago as a way to protect student-athletes, the NCAA continues to implement that principle with increased emphasis on both athletics and academic excellence.
USAG Updates
USA Gymnastics is the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. This designation comes from the U.S. Olympic Committee, and the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). USA Gymnastics sets the rules and policies that govern gymnastics in the United States.
Continuing Education
Annual CPE’s credits are required to test up to the next level and to be assigned to USA Gymnastics sanctioned events. Each judge is responsible to keep accurate records of their CPE, including documentation of attendance at approved CPE experiences.
Region 5 Xcel
The Region 5 Xcel Program (formerly Prep Optional) is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside the traditional USA Gymnastic's Junior Olympic Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes.
Judging Tools
All educational items are offered by NAWGJ as a courtesy to judges to help in the educational process. They are NOT official information and there could be errors. We appreciate the member judges that have taken the time and effort to share their expertise in this way
